Patrick "Pat" Surma 77, of McHenry IL, passed away on April 2, 2025. He was born on May 23, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois to parents Arthur and Lerlene (Rye) Surma.
Pat is survived by his wife Laura Mae (Tonkin) Surma, his 7 children, Alan Surma of Cambodia, Jim Surma of McHenry, Jessica Surma of Lake in the Hills, Frank Surma of Lake in the Hills, Katherine Surma of Austin, TX, Tim Surma of Wonder Lake, John Surma of Tennessee, and 7 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by both of his parents Art and Lerlene Surma, brother Micheal Surma, brothers -in-law Brett Tonkin, Bill Schultz, Steve Jenkins, sisters-in-law Sherrie Tonkin and Linda Tonkin.
Visitation will be April 12th from 10:00-12:00 at Colonial Funeral Home at 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry, IL. Burial will be at 12:30PM at Windridge Memorial Park and Nature Sanctuary on 7014 S Rawson Bridge Rd, Cary, IL 60013
