Patrick Bouvier Peterson, born April 18, 1970 in Fairhope, AL, to Andrew A. Peterson, Jr. and Tanzie J. Peterson. He transitioned to eternal life on May 18, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father Andrew A. Peterson, Jr, and his grandparents.
He accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age while attending Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Point Clear, AL. He served in the United States Army from 1989 to 1997. After returning home from the military, he worked for UPS parcel service for a number of years. He was involved in a motorcycle accident in 2001 which left him paralyzed from waist down. Through his adversity Patrick didn't let being paralyzed stop him from enjoying life and meeting people. He worked for Bass Pro Shop as a PBX operator for about four years, then he got involved with the PVA (Paralyzed Veterans Association). While working for the PVA, he got hired on with the Standing Wheelchair company. He has many accomplishments under his belt which includes: being featured on a Cheerios Box and receiving a key to the City of Fairhope for that accomplishment, he was a winner of several gold medals at the National Veteran's Wheelchair Games where he participated in various wheelchair sports including: bocce ball, bowling, weightlifting, softball, field track, basketball, and also wheelchair football; Ranger Road Veteran Support Car Racing, and he was a member of The All-Star Awakening baseball team.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother Tanzie J. Peterson, a devoted fiancé Natalie Rae Johnson and two devoted children Danielle Peterson and Cadell Peterson; one devoted sister Tiffani (Michael) Gardner of Mobile AL, two devoted brothers Toby (Patricia) Peterson of Mobile, AL, Delwin Shawn Smith of Fairhope, AL, one devoted grandson Kolton Peterson; two devoted cousins Charles Durgin and Tamica Davis and several devoted friends Vernon Edwards, Mark Williams, Larry Watson, Norman Jackson, Jaime Cooper, William LaFitte, Clayton Brock, Antonio Sledge; a special devoted family friend Zee McGrue; four nieces, one nephew, host of Uncles, Aunts, cousins and other relatives and friends.
