Patrick Roszel Obituary
Oasis at Fellowship Square in Surprise, Arizona.
He was born April 19, 1934, in Coffeyville, Kansas, the son of the late Roy
S. and Lael (Traughber) Roszel.
Patrick served his country in the United States Air Force from 1958 to
1961 at Kirkland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After his
service, he worked in the oil and gas industry and served as Manager,
Planning & Control Services, at the Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO,
later acquired by BP p.l.c.), retiring in 1985.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife,
Wanna (Wright) Roszel; his brothers William, Erwin, and Eugene; and his
sisters Margaret, Mildred, Bonnie, and Faye. He is survived by his wife,
June (Fauccette) Roszel; his twin sister, Patricia Roszel, of Katy, Texas; his
daughter, Rebecca (David) Rosenthal, of Durham, North Carolina; his
granddaughter, Jessica Aranda, of Salt Lake City, Utah; his stepgrandchildren,
Joshua (Chris) Rosenthal and Aliza (Daniel) MacKenzie; 2
step-great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends who will sadly
miss him.
A Celebration of Life memorial service is scheduled for January 20, 2026,
at Fellowship Square in Surprise, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests
that memorial contributions be made in Patrick's memory to Hospice of
the Valley via their website at https://www.hov.org/donate/donate-now/.
