Patrick M. Ryan, 25, a resident of Nashua, NH, died tragically in Vermont in a snowmobile accident.
Beloved son of Elizabeth Surgenor (Biwald Ryan) of Phippsburg, ME and loving brother of Katherine Ryan of Gilford, NH. Grandson to Eleanor Ryan of Lowell.
Patrick grew up in Groton and graduated from the Groton Dunstable Regional High School.
Loyal to his family and friends, Patrick loved the outdoors, driving and working on his truck, snowmobiling, golfing, being social and appreciating his alone time. Patrick was thoughtful, kind, sweet, welcoming, humorous, charming, sensitive, animated, hardworking, spiritual, an animal lover. He would light up a room with his smile, his laugh and his ability to talk a blue streak. His family was so proud of the man he became.
Patrick is survived by his uncle Timothy Ryan and his wife Brenda of Nashua, NH and their daughters Shannon and Jillian; uncle Christopher Biwald and his wife Linda of San Diego, CA and their sons Alex and Joseph; uncle James Ryan of Lowell and cousins Caden and Callie Ryan of Methuen. Stepfather Jonathan Surgenor of Phippsburg, ME, his children Jessica and Nathan, along with numerous close friends, co-workers and Groton neighbors who loved Patrick, also survive him.
Patrick is pre-deceased by his father, Robert Ryan, his brother Matthew Ryan and his grandparents Edwin Biwald, Maria Biwald and James Ryan.
Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Patrick for a period of visitation on Monday, March 18, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School St., Groton. His funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Badger Funeral Home, 45 School St., Groton.
