Obituary
Patrick Sementa of Hawthorne, NY, has passed away at the age of 66 on March 20, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. To Patrick, family was everything. He is survived by his wife Ann Sementa; his 3 children, James Sementa (Amanda Sementa), Brian Sementa (Antoinette Sementa), & Kaitlyn Sementa (Skënder Muça); his brothers Michael Sementa (Lizzie Sementa) and Thomas Sementa (Peggy Sementa); his sister-in-law Karen Quinlan; his nieces and nephews, Richard Sementa (Jennifer Sementa), Ethan and Carter Sementa, Kevin Sementa, Louis Sementa, Lizzie Sementa, Mikey Sementa, Patti Sementa, Billy Slavik (Julianna Slavik), Ariella and Giovanni Slavik, Victoria Slavik (Giovanni Ivaldi), Julian and Khori Ivaldi & Alyssa Quinlan (Anthony Divenere); his grandchild Larissa (Lari) Sementa; his cousins, Marlene, Joe & Laura.
He is predeceased by his parents; Florence & Louis Sementa; his mother-in-law Violet Slavik; his sibling-in-laws William Slavik (Margaret Slavik), Joe Slavik (Ginna Slavik) & Mary Slavik.
Pat was born and raised in the Bronx, being one of the only Mets fan in the area. He loved going to the games every season with family and friends. Lake George was a 2nd home to him, visiting every summer, gathered with family and friends. Pat was the owner of a successful plumbing business for 25 years along with being Treasurer of the Independent Masters Plumbers of Westchester (IMPW) and Master Plumbers Council. He wasn't only an amazing husband, father, brother and uncle but a companion to all people he encountered. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Thursday, March 23,2023 from 4:00pm- 8:00pm. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, NY on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 10:00 am. Internment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
