Patrick John "Mike" Seratti

MARQUETTE, MI - Patrick John Seratti, known fondly as Mike or "Spaghetti", passed away peacefully in his sleep.
Born on March 17, 1937, in L'Anse, Michigan, to John and Catherine (Sterbenz) Seratti, Mike was raised with strong values in a close-knit family. After moving to Detroit, he graduated from St. Andrew's High School in the Class of 1955. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He proudly served his country in Dachau, Germany and was honorably discharged.
Upon returning to Detroit, Mike began his career as a carpet installer with A.R. Cramer Company. On November 25, 1966, he married his beloved wife, Sally Martinez, and together they built a beautiful life in Southfield, Michigan, where they raised their two daughters. In 1976, they moved to Marquette, where Mike worked at Earl's Carpet Shop and continued his career as a skilled installer and carpenter for various local businesses. After retirement he had a part time job at "Blue Link" party store and most recently worked for "Tadych's" bagging groceries.
An avid fisherman, Mike cherished time on the water and found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from taking occasional trips to the casino to playing Keno at "Third Base Bar". He could often be seen riding around town on his red scooter. A true people person, he loved visiting with friends, sharing stories, and making freshly baked bread. His baked goods extended to his family's pets, always making sure the dogs had fresh treats.
Mike is survived by his wife, Sally; his daughters, Stefanie (Joe) Havican and Leslie Seratti, both of Marquette; his cherished grandchildren, Sabrina Alfonsa (Steven) Niemi, Trevor (Jenny) Havican, and Jarod Havican; and his beloved great-grandsons, Marcelo Niemi and Finnley Havican. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Maureen Seratti of Troy, Michigan, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Patricia (Jerry) Wagner; and his brother, Paul Anthony Seratti.
In honoring Mike's wishes, a celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Third Base Bar.
