Patrick McClary Siau, 79, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024, in NHC Healthcare in Garden City. He was born July 17, 1944, a son of the late Francis Linguard Siau, Jr. and Eleanor Lenora (McClary) Siau.
He was preceded in death by his brother Francis Linguard Siau, III and Etta McCormac Siau.
Pat served his community as a State Farm Agent in Georgetown South Carolina for 38 years. He was a devoted and giving husband, father and grandfather and was a great boss to those he employed. He was also a proud Marine. Pat enjoyed hunting, weightlifting and anything fitness related. On most days, Pat could be found walking through Hagley with his 70-pound backpack. He was always in training.
Pat is survived by his wife Rebecca Michael (Becki), his daughter Shannon Kay Siau and his son Patrick (Clay) McClary Siau Jr (Lindsey). He has four grandchildren, Olivia Marie, Patrick (Mac) McClary, Hattie Rosetta, and Louis Kessler Siau all from Pawleys Island South Carolina. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Juanita Sanders Siau and two brothers Robert McGilvary Siau (Michelle) and William Carraway Siau (Betty) and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to NHC-Garden City and Caris Healthcare for their love and support.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 18, 2024, in the Georgetown Presbyterian Church, with a reception to immediately follow in the church fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association SC Chapter, 123 West Antrim Drive, Greenville, SC 29607 https://www.BrightFocus.org/alzheimers
