Patrick Stricklett Obituary
February 5, 1943 - July 23, 2023
Patrick James Stricklett, age 80 of Omaha, passed away peacefully at home on July 23, 2023 following a long illness.
Pat truly lived his life to the fullest; he was an avid runner, voracious reader, and had a passion for art and music. Education was also near and dear to Pat. He enjoyed The Great Courses series, and more recently, started learning Latin and French. One of his prized possessions was an unmatched 'blues' collection, which was often enjoyed with a Fat Tire beer in hand. While all of these things were important to Pat, his family meant the most to him and they will miss him dearly.
Survived by wife, Karen; children, Ted (Rachel) Stricklett, Kevin (Shelby) Stricklett, Katie (Matt) Carnley; grandchildren, Emily (Robert) Kolley, Hannah (Zach) Birkland, Ellie Stricklett, Owen Stricklett, Noah Stricklett, Connor Bromley; great-grandchildren, Ella & Brady; many other loved ones and friends.
Memorial Gathering will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 3rd, John A. Gentleman Mortuary, 14151 Pacific St. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to the Omaha Performing Arts or the Omaha Public Library.

Pat we went to grade school , high school and college together. We were best friends in Bellevue together. Lots of fun times. Say hello to Mary, your Mom, for us. She was great. Have some angel food cake in heaven and that beer you like. God bless.
