When I learned today of Pat's passing,I cried. Pat was my best friend during our childhood years at St. Hilary's. Boy did we get in trouble together! But,we laughed at the trouble,we laughed during class,we laughed on the playground,we even laughed on the altar! When we were reunited later in life at the CBOT,we laughed in the pit together. So many wonderful memories. I understand why God took Pat....he will brighten Heaven as he brightened earth for me. I loved Pat Sturch. God bless you Pat,and God bless all the Sturch family.

I knew Pat from being in the wheat pit. When I lost my dad, Pat was there for me in support. He knew my father, & me and he offered support and encouragement those first few days when I went back to work. So sad to hear that he passed, I´m so sorry for your lost.

Haven´t seen Pat for awhile. He stopped up by me with Kenny Acciari a few years back.
Pat was one of those guys that always had a smile on his face.
He never changed from the St. Hillary days to the last time we met.
He was a great guy and will be missed!

I've known Pat Sturch since I was 12 years old. He taught me how to shoot free throws at St. Hilary. Always stopped and said hello in the park. Great Guy. The Best!

Very sorry to hear about Pat´s passing. We grew up together, learned to play sports together, and competed together in elementary and high school; a lot of great times and a lot of good memories from back in the day.
My condolences to Pat´s family. He set a fine example as a guy who gave back more than he took; a great role model for the rest of us.

We will forever cherish each and every memory we made with Patrick Sturch, who was our children´s wonderful Papa, our sports teams´ biggest fan, one of the most generous people we all have known, a loving husband and father, a fierce competitor, a humble, gentle person who also loved his country so much. May you forever Rest In Peace in heaven, your life may have been cut too short but your memory will last forever in the minds and hearts of everyone who knew you. Thank you for all that you did for Sarah, our children and for me, you will be sorely missed and never forgotten Pat/Papa.

I was shy and new to St. Hilarys in 8th grade. Pat was a very popular guy...yet he took the time to make me feel welcome there. A good spirit!

Over the years, I occasionally would run into him at the park walking his dog and/or his grandchildren. He loved his family and was always upbeat and kind. He will be missed by all the peoples lives he touched.

I played basketball with Pat at St. George HS and he was one of the most fierce competitors you would ever encounter. Loved to kid the guys and then follow up with a quick infectious smile. Great personality and a joy to run into during our later years. Rest In Peace my friend.
