Patrick Michael Sullivan

WINSTED – Patrick Michael Sullivan, 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 after a long illness. He was the devoted husband of Diane (O'Hara) Sullivan for 46 years. Born June 21, 1947 in Winsted; the son of the late Martin and Dorothy (Warren) Sullivan.
Patrick graduated from Gilbert High School and then worked for several local companies before becoming a Custodian for NCCC and Avon Old Farms Schools.
He enjoyed gardening, antique cars and 60's rock and roll music. He had a great sense of humor and was a loving and caring father. He also enjoyed going out to dinners, attending local fairs and was very active socially with friends and family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Krista Sullivan; sister-in-law, Rosemarie Sullivan and her children, Anthony and Regina; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by thirteen siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 11 AM at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted. Burial will be held in the spring at Colebrook Center Cemetery. Visit an online guestbook at montano-shea.com.
