Patrick Tentarelli Obituary

Patrick worked as a school teacher for Evesham Twp. for many years before retiring. He pastored Bridesburg Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA prior to teaching, and he also served as a guest pastor in several South Jersey churches through the years. Patrick was passionate about studying, memorizing, and sharing the Word of God. He served actively in the leadership of the churches he attended and regularly taught adult Sunday School classes. Patrick was an avid model railroader from childhood and had multiple photos of his model trains on the cover of Model Railroader Magazine. He enjoyed woodworking and made furniture for his family that they still use and cherish today. Patrick and his wife Faye loved to travel, visiting 49 of the 50 US states and several European countries. Two of his favorite trips were driving Route 66 and driving to Alaska via the Alaskan Highway.
His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his late wife, his three children, and his three beloved granddaughters who were the apple of his eye.
Beloved husband of the late M. Faye (nee Johnson) Tentarelli. Devoted father of Mark Tentarelli (Emma), Cindy Tentarelli, and Stephen Tentarelli (Caryn). Adoring grandfather of Emily Hermida (Albert), Kathryn Tentarelli, and Alexandra Tentarelli. Dear brother of Nicholas Tentarelli (Leona). Loving brother-in-law of Royce Johnson (Eunice), Sherwood Johnson (Evelyn), Yvonne Johnson, and Linda Johnson. He is predeceased by his sisters-in-law Doris Coley (Earl), Hazel Jackson (Robert), and Dot Johnson, and brothers-in-law Delwin Johnson, Graham Johnson, and Horace Bordeaux. Patrick is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday morning, December 20th, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at the COSTANTINO-PRIMO FUNERAL HOME, 231 W. WHITE HORSE PIKE, BERLIN, NJ. Funeral service 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Locustwood Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
Those who wish to make a donation in lieu of flowers are asked to give in his memory to Community Bible Church, Camp Haluwasa or Samaritan Hospice.

I remember many special times with Pat, but 2 stand out. In 1954 Rachel and I were junior bridesmaids in Faye and Pat's wedding and four years later, when I was 13, Rachel and I spent a month with Faye and Pat when they lived in Philadelphia. Those were the two highlights of my life at that time and to this day I remember them like they happened yesterday. After Rick and I were married and we all lived in NJ, Rick and Pat became great friends through their shared hobby of model railroading. We will both miss Pat very much. Linda Spano
