Patrick Joseph Vitale

Patrick Joseph "Senior" "Pap-Pap" Vitale, Sr., age 58, of McKeesport, PA, died on Sunday, March 17, 2024. He was born in McKeesport on March 7, 1966, and is the son of the late John William and Mary Louise Wigand Vitale. Patrick was employed as a warehouse manager for medical supplies for over twenty years and later was the maintenance supervisor for Woodland Manor. He was a youth baseball and wrestling coach for McKeesport, as well as a youth basketball coach for Penn Trafford. He was a loving father and grandfather. He really enjoyed sports and seeing others happy.

He is survived by his son, Patrick Joseph (Emily Larimer) Vitale, Jr. of Trafford, PA; grandsons, Patrick Joseph Vitale, III; Jackson Vitale; Rowan Larimer; cherished friend Donna Lee Vitale; siblings, Peggy Diperna; Jerry Vitale; Fred Vitale; Paul Vitale; Eugene Vitale; James Vitale; Mary Sue Fellabaum; Linda Dow; Joyce Vitale; cousin Bruce Archibald; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Patrick was preceded in death by his brother, John Vitale.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177). A burial will follow at Round Hill Cemetery.
