Patrick Ware Obituary
Patrick Lee Ware, age 71, of Versailles, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at his home. He was born October 21, 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri, a son of Raymond Lee and Helen Nadine (Bradley) Ware.
He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and retired as a Staff Sergeant after over nine years of service to his country. He lived in various places as he moved with the Air Force. He was a Southern Baptist minister and later worked as the Director of Human Resources for IAC Group in Kansas City. He retired to Versailles in 2006.
Family was most important to him and he spent every free moment possible with the light of his life, his granddaughter, Gracie.
Survivors include his daughters, Rachel Birchfield and husband Thomas and Sarah Ferrell and husband Joseph all of Versailles, Missouri; a granddaughter, Gracie Birchfield; a brother, Michael Ray Ware of Lawson, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Jeri Ware of Harrisonville, Missouri and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Victor Clinton Ware and a sister, Peggy Tyler.
A private family service will be held at a later date with burial in Versailles Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

Patrick and I were online gaming partners and friends for years. We met playing his favorite game "Forge of Empires". He was a wonderful friend and person. I knew he had been fighting cancer for years, but I always hoped that maybe an answer could be found. He was very special and this saddens me terribly.
I wish the best to all of you, and thanks for listening to a faraway friend. I live in Montana.
