Patrick Michael Weber, age 85, of Tacoma, Washington, passed away from Parkinson's disease on August 23, 2025.

Patrick was born on November 12, 1939, in Tuscola, Illinois, to A.J. and Ann Weber. He grew up on the family farm in Tuscola, graduated from Tuscola High School in 1957, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Illinois at Champaign, where he also completed the U.S. Army ROTC program.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army, with assignments in Oklahoma, Greenland, and McChord Air Force Base in Washington. Patrick retired from active duty and continued his service in the Army Reserves, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

In 1968, he married Judith LaBeau. Together they made their home in Tacoma, where they raised their two children. Patrick worked for the Washington State Employment Security Department for more than 30 years.

Patrick will be remembered for his deep love of sports and family. He not only enjoyed playing sports throughout his life but also watching and coaching them. He coached his children and grandchildren in baseball and basketball, sharing his passion and mentorship across generations. Outside of sports, Patrick was an avid gardener and marathon runner. He also dedicated his time to volunteer work with Kiwanis, the Tacoma Athletic Commission, and the Bellarmine Boosters.

Patrick is survived by his son, Mike Weber; his daughter, Kimberly (Weber) Leingang; his sister, Kathy Weber; and four grandchildren: Luke, Keira, Brooklyn, and Kennedy. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jim and Mike.

A celebration of life will be held on September 6 at 4:00 p.m. at the Bellarmine Campus Center. Friends and family are invited to wear attire representing one of Pat's favorite teams and gather in remembrance of his life.

Pat and I had many sessions together sharing athletic experiences. We enjoyed high school sports probably more than any other level.

Pat truly loved his family.

Rest in Peace my dear friend.

Willie Stewart.

Pat was a friend for several years while he coached my son, Bryce´s, basketball team, and a big supporter of mind, for many added years, while I played baseball for the Tacoma Tigers & Washington Titans. I have good memories of Pat and he will be missed.

Pat was one of the most loyal people I have ever known. We sat the bench for many years at the State Basketball Tourney in the Dome as part of the Host Program. Even though he went to Illinois, he adopted WSU and was a devout fan. We shared our love for the Cougs everywhere went. As a Bellarmine Alum, I always appreciated his support of the Lions, especially watching granddaughter Keira compete. He was always there for me, no matter what. I will miss him dearly. RIP Pat Weber, SUPER FAN!!

Pat will always be known as "THE Skipper". We played 30 and over baseball since 1990 and co-managed The Tacoma Senators, Tacoma Tugs and Washington Titans to over 20 championships in 5 different age divisions. He was my mentor and friend. Long live "THE SKIPPER" Mic Stump
