Patrick and I became good friends right away since we both loved our Clemson Tigers! He was probably the friendliest person at the y because he never met a stranger. He was always smiling and he made me feel better even if I was a little down. He will be greatly missed by me and everyone who knew him, but I will see him again. God bless and comfort his family.

One of the kindest and funniest men ever - always smiling, and that laugh I will never forget. Full of joy and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed at the AAYMCA.

He was always a bright spot to my day when I saw him at the Y. He always had a smile, a fist bump and kind word. Such a sweet man. He will be missed terribly here on this earth. Will see him again one day

I had the absolute JOY of meeting Pat at the YMCA! He was truly the best. Every time he´d see me he would say his day was better. He always made me laugh but also feel so valued as a human being. Pat treated EVERYONE like family, and he is so so missed. I´m sending my prayers and love to all of his family.

I always looked forward to seeing Patrick each day at the Y to see that smile and hear that laughter. He was such a happy person, especially when his Tigers were playing. You could always find him talking with someone at the Y as he had so many friends. I don´t know if he ever had time to actually work out. I think his workout was carrying that huge backpack of his around. He was never without it. I will always miss him as he was one who touched so many hearts as he really cared about people.

One of my favorite things about working at the Y was when I´d see Patrick. We´d always share a good laugh and he was such an encouragement to me during a hard time in my life. One time we laughed til we were about in tears because I left work one evening and he was talking to another member (imagine that). The next morning I walked into work and he was standing in the same spot talking to someone else. I said, "you never left." We got a kick out of it and I will always remember that. Everyone that took the time to know him, loved him. I´m so sad knowing he is gone, but I´m grateful that I will see him again one day. I imagine he is standing somewhere in heaven talking to someone right now. God bless his family and all that love him. My deepest condolences.

Pat was my Y friend! He was always dressed "head to toe" in Clemson gear! You could count on that and his "smile", and he loved to talk, especially about sports and Clemson. He´ll be sorely missed by his Y family for sure!!

The Anderson YMCA will not be the same without Patrick´s warm smile, and his contagious laughter. Patrick brought so much joy and laughter to each and every person he encountered.
His beautiful legacy of kindness and compassion and joyful laughter will continue to be an inspiration for my lifetime. I feel blessed to have had the privilege to befriend such a wonderful person.

Patrick was truly one of my most favorite human beings of all time. His smile had a way of lighting up the room and brightening everyone´s day. His laugh was contagious. His genuine kindness was a gift enjoyed by all. I am forever grateful for the priceless moments we spent conversing at the gym. The Anderson area YMCA will not be the same without his beautiful presence. He will surely be missed.

I met Patrick through my friends Kam & Sharon at the YMCA. In the short time I knew him, I felt he was the most loving, kind, humble person I ever met. I will miss his wonderful laugh & the hugs he had for all. He will be sorely missed by all of us.

Pat was the "mayor" of the YMCA. He always had a smile on his face and took the time to talk with us with kindness and humor. Pat enjoyed talking about his family, Clemson Tigers and Michael Jordan. You could always tell where Pat was at the Y by the sounds of laughter as he made his rounds chatting with friends and new acquaintances. I think we all considered Pat a friend and he will be truly missed.

I met Patrick at the Anderson YMCA. Always had a smile on his face. Everyone in the morning gave him a hard time because they said he talked more than working out. My nickname for him was KD because he looked like Kevin Hart. KD was for Kevins Daddy. I will miss you, my friend. MM
