Learned of Pat's passing from his longtime buddy Doug Vath. Very sorry to hear of his unexpected passing. Spent a good amount of time hunting and fishing with Pat in Nebraska. RMEF banquets, Late night runs to Big Mac, fish frys, big game processing parties. I harvested my first archery deer with him. He endlessly hounded against me for shooting instinctually with a compound bow. He and all the PS's at the store begged me to put a sight on the old pawn shop oineida bow. He rolled his eyes when I showed up with that doe in the back of the truck. He taught me a lot about hunting and fishing. We had a lot of good times together and even though we had a falling out while big game hunting, which led to our talking very little over the next dozen years, I always got to hear how he was doing and wished him well. He worked tirelessly through his post divorce years and spoke lovingly of his daughters when I would inquire how they were. He was a good man and loved being outside among the critters. Pat did it the hard way, the good way and never relented from how it should be done. From fins to feathers, hooves to hides, I hope you are at peace friend and know that no matter what happened, I really appreciated all the chances I had to be in the woods with you. Always in my memory and in the stories I tell, you will live on in a special place in my heart. My heartfelt condolences to his daughters and family in Hebron, NE.

Dan and Cece Meyer

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Patrick Worden. Dan has so many memories of his cousin as they grew up in Superior. So many family reunions together in Hebron, Nebraska! I remember the first time I met Pat when he was on the basketball team for Superior, Nebraska. Dan and I sat with Louie & Cec during the game and enjoyed cheering for the wildcats. Sending love to Kathi and her family. Dan & Cece Meyer
