Patrick K. Wyer

Patrick was born on August 12, 1950 and passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. Patrick was a resident of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin at the time of passing. He joined the Army as a medic in 1969 during the Vietnam War and when he found out he needed to carry a weapon, applied for, and was granted a Conscientious Objector Honorable Discharge nine months later which was rarely given during that conflict. A visitation for Patrick will be held from 4:00 pm until 6:30 pm on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI, 54971. A Rosary will be held at 6:30 pm at the funeral home. Visitation will also be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 228 E. Blossom St. in Ripon. A Memorial Mass for Patrick will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon, with Father William Whalen officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon.
