Patsy Sue Griffin Alexander, age 92, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, in her home.
Mrs. Alexander was born on March 6, 1932, in Dierks, Arkansas. She was a member of the Greens Chapel Church for over 63 years and a member of the Greens Chapel Cemetery committee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Ethel Griffin; one daughter, Glenda Sue Rogers; two sisters, Ernestine Pate, Helen Lightfoot, and one brother, Donnie Griffin.
She is survived by her husband, Clyde Alexander; two sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Theresa Alexander, David and Tammy Alexander all of Dierks; grandchildren, Cristy and Timmy Stokes, Jason and Nicole Young, Brandon and Jonna Alexander, Jered Alexander, Cole and Quincy Alexander, Justin Alexander, Mark and Amy Alexander, Pat and John Beck, Lorie and Troy Barker; 24 great grandchildren; 19 great great grandchildren; two brothers, Chestine and Carolyn Griffin, and Jerrel Griffin; special friend, Janice Hughes and a number of nieces, and nephews.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Alexander will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the Greens Chapel Cemetery in Lockesburg with Bobby Neal and John Franklin officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice, Kelly, Susan, Delta, and John.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Greens Chapel Cemetery Fund, 169 Firehouse LN., Lockesburg, Arkansas 71846.
