Patsy Alsman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Simpson Funeral Home - Webb City on Mar. 13, 2025.
With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Patsy Alsman, affectionately known as Granny or Ninny to her beloved grandchildren. Born on January 4, 1954, in Fort Worth, Texas, Patsy's life was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering faith. A woman of extraordinary courage and wit, Patsy was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her. Her spirit of generosity and the joy she found in simple pleasures were reflections of her deep Christian faith. We find comfort in the words of the Bible, Matthew 5:4, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."
Patsy's life was a journey that took her from her birthplace in Fort Worth, Texas, to Glen Rose, Texas, Wappapello, Missouri, and finally to her home in Galena, Kansas. She held a fulfilling career at Securitas from where she retired after many years of dedicated service. Patsy was a cherished member of the Lakeland Assembly of GOD, where her faith and commitment were an inspiration to many. Her resilience was most evident in her ability to always do her best with what she was given. Patsy had a love for plants and flowers, but her greatest joy was her family. Her grandkids and great-grandkids were the apple of her eye, and she dedicated her life to creating beautiful memories with them.
Patsy is survived by her loving son Jason (Dawn) Wallace; daughters Tracy (Daniel) Davis and Stacy Magill; grandchildren, Jasa "Jase" Lynn, Johnah "Squirt" Lee, Chad "Tater Tot" Smith, Tarasah "My Tate" Magill, Toniah "Neicee" Magill, Kaleb "Weasel" Smith, Namine "Nom" Davis; great grandkids, Landon "Monkey Dude" Murray, Eastyn "Sassy" Murray, Jeremiah "Bullfrog" Murray, Kholson Smith, Ezra Smith, Marley Harper and Bowie Harper. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Mamie Alsman and her son Vernon Lipsey. As we mourn the loss of this beautiful soul, we also celebrate her life and the love she shared with us. Her memory will forever be engraved in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Patsy's life was a constant reminder of the power of love, courage, and resilience, and her legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
