Patsy Ann Lynn Morrow, age 83, of Wappapello, MO, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026, in St. Louis, MO.
Born January 7, 1943, in Scott County, MO to the late Clyde A. Lynn, Sr. and Rita Agnes Rogers, she lived in Benton, MO most of her life before moving to Wappapello. She graduated from Thomas W. Kelly High School in Benton, MO and then went on to complete her degree at Southeast Missouri State University. Mrs. Morrow taught at St. Henry in Charleston, MO and Thomas W. Kelly Middle School and later retired from Thomas W. Kelly High School after decades of shaping and inspiring generations of students.
Patsy was a talented creator of arts and crafts, especially adorable wooden creations for every holiday. She was also an avid gardener of both vegetables and flowers. She enjoyed her church communities in bible study, prayer and volunteering at both Morley Baptist Church and Lake Wappapello United Methodist Church. She was a light to many, encouraging others whether friends, family, fellow patients, or even people at the grocery store. Patsy had a way of telling a humorous story that would gently guide others to find a way to solve a problem, be persistent, and find faith in God and those around them. Her smile and unwavering support will greatly be missed!
On June 14, 1963, she married Ottis B. Morrow. He preceded her in death on December 29, 2020. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Gabriel James Morrow, sister Marie Hendershott, and her brothers Cecil Roger “Nip”, W.A, Clyde Jr., and Lennis “Nubbin” Lynn.
Mrs. Morrow is survived by her sons, Gregory Lynn (Mary) Morrow of St. Louis and Ryan Patrick (Crystal) Morrow of Dexter, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Nolan, Evan, Elizabeth, Taylor, and Landon; and her brother, Donald Lynn, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:00 until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, MO. Craig Hamilton of Lake Wappapello United Methodist Church will officiate.
