Kornerstone Funeral Directors - TuliaPatsy Nell Baggett, 80, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 6, 2025 in the Central Church of Christ with Mr. Stacy McCasland officiating.
Patsy was born on March 14, 1945, in Paducah, Texas, to Homer Lee and Mary (George) Southerland. Patsy spent her formative years at the Adams-Rodgers Ranch, east of Tulia. She married at a young age and became the proud mother of two daughters, Brenda and Shirlyn. Patsy spent many years serving her community as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Tulia Nursing Home. In addition, she successfully ventured into several businesses, including selling farming insurance, owning the Champlin Cafe in Tulia, and operating CP Trucking for 20 years. Patsy was fiercely proud of her grandchildren often attending their school activities and celebrating their achievements. Her love for family extended to her cherished fur babies, PC, JD, and Rosie, who filled her home with joy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Mary Southerland; her husband, Clint Wesley Baggett; her daughter, Brenda Ann Kisner; her sisters, Jackie Price, Mary Jo Daniels, Cathy Byer and Lousie Fisher.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirlyn Jean Nickel, her grandchildren, Calvin Klein and wife Jamie, Kandis Winningham and husband Domanic and Jordan Lee Nickel; her stepchildren, Brett, Miranda and Colton Baggett; her great, grandchildren, Kyryn, BreAnn, Hayley, Maddy and Tyler; her great, great grandson, Mickey III.
