Patsy Bailey Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 14, 2008.
Patsy Ruth Bailey, 71, of Sherwood went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, April 14, 2008 in Little Rock. Patsy was born on July 29, 1936 to the late Floyd Webb and Esther (Collar) Webb in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a retired supervisor for Southwestern Bell. Nanny as she was called by her family and friends had a servants heart and was the glue that held the family together. Christ was the center of her life and she followed his example by putting herself last and being the most selfless person anyone ever met. She loved her husband, kids, her grandkids and her great grandchildren. Nanny spent every waking hour caring for them. She enjoyed watching her grandson play baseball, family vacations, and anything else pertaining to her family. She was outgoing and talkative and if she wasnt with her family she was on the phone with them daily. Everyone that met her felt like she was their Nanny too. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Harold Webb, and a granddaughter Somer Nicole Tolliver. Nanny is survived by her husband of 52 years, Calvin Bailey, her two daughters Patti Tolliver and fianc Tony Quinn and Sonya Bailey of Sherwood, Her siblings, Wendell (Glenda) Webb and Wayne (Fern) Webb of Sherwood, Roy Lee (Billie) Webb and Jean (Stan) Rushin of Little Rock, Jack (Marie) Webb and Donald (Floy) Webb of North Little Rock, Lois Baker, Wilbur (Montene) Webb and Marilyn (Lewis) Crow of Vilonia, six grandchildren Justin Tolliver, Brooke Verdell Autumn Tolliver, Ashur Tolliver, Jimmy Ridenhour and Raain Thompson, five great grandchildren, Jackson Verdell, Bailey Verdell and Brooklyn Verdell, Loren McElhaney, Koston Tolliver and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.
