Yesterday

I will miss you, Aunt Pat. From our trips to the lake growing up to family reunions to our little lunches and dinners out, you were always a part of my life. Your thoughtfulness and kindness on visiting my Momma and Daddy when they were too sick to get out any more will always be remembered with love. I will cherish the quilt topper that Mrs. Bailey made that you gave to me after one of our lunches. But, what I will remember most is your "gift for gab." You loved to talk to anyone and everyone--and you never met a stranger. The world is not bright as it used to be with you gone, but I bet Heaven is all aglow now that you are there! You will be missed. I love you.
