Patricia Bolt Barnette, 75, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025, at her home.
Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Darwin Reid Bolt and Dorothy Hanks Bolt Dykes. Patsy was retired from Duke Power Company. She enjoyed camping and trips with her family. She was currently a member of Pendleton Methodist Church and was a longtime member of Zion United Methodist Church where she was active in many church activities including serving as an organizer of the ladies annual tea. The family would like any of the ladies in attendance to wear their hats or fascinator in her honor. Patsy was also a member of the Zion Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her children, Charidee Bryant (Mark), Anthony Dale Barnette (Anna), P. Harold Barnette, Jr. (Julie), Phyllis Merck (Gregg), and Sherri Rogers (Casey); and grandchildren, Hunter, Ella, Alex, Ada Grace, Sawyer, Connor, Erin, Jacob, Hannah, Gabby, Mikayla, and Haddon.
She was twice married, first to the late Dale Barnette and second to the late Phillip Barnette. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Hix and Joy Lynn Bolt and a brother, Jack Reid Bolt.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, at Zion United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Beverly CroweTipton and Rev. Kevin Cooley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Fire Department, 5503 Hix Road, Anderson, SC 29625, or Pendleton Methodist Church, P.O. Box 646, Pendleton, SC 29670.
