Patsy Whisnant Belcher

Patsy Whisnant Belcher, a devoted mother, loving grandmother, and dear friend, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 26th, 2025, at the age of 89.

Patsy was born on November 11, 1936, in Spindale, North Carolina, to the late Berry Fred Collins and Annie Mae Sane Collins.

A proud homemaker, Patsy poured her heart into caring for those she loved. She was known by her family as the most amazing Nanny-witty, funny, and always keeping an eye out for everyone. She enjoyed shopping and had a special gift for making those around her feel loved. Above all, she was a devoted mother and a best friend to her daughter.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Teresa Stephens Lowe; a son; granddaughter, Amber Caldwell; and great-granddaughter, Addison Caldwell, all of whom brought her immense joy.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband; one sister; and two brothers

She was a woman of strong faith whose life reflected love, kindness, and grace. Her greatest joy was her family, and she leaves behind a legacy of devotion, compassion, and unwavering love. Though deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing she now rests in eternal peace.
