Patsy Ruth Bennett

Patsy Ruth Bennett of Richmond, Texas passed away peacefully in her home on September 27, 2025 at the age of 81. Patsy was born in 1944, at home, in Tom, Oklahoma to parents Guy and Delta (Baird) Williams. She attended elementary and high school in Idabel, Oklahoma. Patsy graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Education and obtained her Masters Degree in Education from Southeastern.

Mom loved her family, her dog Jake, gardening, baking, entertaining, puzzles, traveling and her Houston Astros. She attended St. John's United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing Mexican Train and Samba with her many neighbors and friends. She was known to make a new best friend wherever she went and loved the holidays.

Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, brother Doug Williams, father of her girls Dudley Goolsby, and niece Jackie Galloway.

She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Jamie and Grant Webb and Brandei and Keith Pesnell, grandson, Matthew Webb and spouse Katie, grand-daughter, Rachel Tieperman and spouse Teigen, great grandchildren, Teddy, Alice and Mary Webb, and nieces Suzanne (Greg), Jody (Roy), and Jyme Kay (Bruce) and nephew Bo.

Family will receive friends starting at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 4th, at Clardy Funeral Service Chapel in Idabel, OK with service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Denison Cemetery.

Mom loved flowers or a donation to the Astros Foundation or the St. John's United Methodist Church (Richmond, TX) would be very special to her.
