A celebration of life will be held for Patsy Jean Boone, 91, of Livingston, Texas Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Polk County Commerce Center, located at 1017 US Hwy 59 Loop N., in Livingston, Texas. The family encourages the guests to please wear purple, as it was Patsy's favorite color.
Patsy was born May 23, 1933 in Houston, Texas and passed away May 5, 2025 in Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rodgers Hostetter and Genevieve Hodges Hostetter; and daughter, Jenny Matlock.
She was "The Land Lady" she loved East Texas and East Texas loved The Land Lady!
She is survived by her daughter, Sherron Horton and husband Mike of Livingston, Texas; son, Davey Bryan and wife Connie of Livingston, Texas; daughters, Kathy Dillon and husband Dennis, Julie Delahoussaye and husband Jacque, all of Livingston, Texas, and Becky Zalesnik and husband David, all of Humble, Texas; grandchildren, Kelley Horton, Leslie Garcia, Laura Schmidt, Kevin Dillon, Amy Smithey, Robert Ogletree, Rebecca Wars, Camron Delahoussaye, Eric Matlock, Adam Matlock, Marcus Matlock, Mason Matlock, Joshua Matlock, Jamie Martinez, Jordan Lene, Caleb Matlock, and Micah Matlock; sister, Elsie Stovall and husband Jerry; and brother, Mike Hostetter and wife Joy; as well as a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Children's Haven (childrenshaven.org) or the Polk County SPCA in Patsy's honor.
