Patsy Helms Bowey

Patsy Helms Bowey, age 89, of Lancaster, SC, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Novant Matthews. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Restoration Church. The funeral ceremony will follow at 11 a.m. in the church sanctuary. The burial will be in the church cemetery.Born in Pineville, NC she was a daughter of the late Horace Randolph Williams and Sena Viola Rowell Williams. She was a supervisor at Springs Textile Mills in Fort Mill, SC. She was a member of Restoration Church in Fort Mill, SC. She was also a member of the Indian Land chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. You could always find her with a smile on her face doing the things she loved. She enjoyed eating breakfast at Waffle House, sitting out on her swing, and doing her exercises. She also loved attending church, playing softball, singing in her churchs choir, crocheting, and gardening. You could also find her spending time with her friends and family or reading the bible. She is survived by her three children, Vick Helms Jr. of Catawba, SC, Terry Hilton (Doug) of Lancaster, SC, and Patsy Langley of Indian Land, SC; her siblings, George Williams and Perry Williams; grandchildren: Renee, Jimmy, Kenneth Jr., Brandi, Michelle, Michael, and Cody; great grandchildren: Austin, Houston, Josh, Kyra, Ethan, Kent, and Emma; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Vick Helms Sr. and Ward Bowey; her children Kenneth Helms, Debbie Helms, Rita Easler, and numerous siblings. She will be dearly missed.
