Patsy Brown Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home - Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel on Oct. 20, 2023.
Patsy "Pat" Wolfe Brown 81, passed away on Wednesday October 18, 2023.
She lived most of her life in the Chattanooga area before moving to Fort Myers, FL where she and her late husband Alvin spent their retirement years together. Most recently she moved to Chickamauga, GA to be close to family.
Pat was born in Chattanooga, TN to the late Marie Wolfe Lowrance and Max Wolfe.
Pat graduated from Central High School in 1960 and immediately began her career with Bell South where she eventually retired as a coin collector with over 30 years of service. After her retirement, she and her husband Alvin decided to snowbird to Fort Myers, FL. She loved the sunshine state, enjoying her life with Alvin where they had many neighbors and friends in their retirement community. She had two special friends, Bett and Caroline. Bett, her next-door neighbor, shared coffee together every morning. She spent Saturdays with Caroline on her deck talking about life. When Alvin passed away in 2009, she remained in Florida where she loved volunteering her time in thrift stores until she decided to come home to be closer to family in Chickamauga GA. After becoming ill, she moved into Park Side Nursing Home in Rossville, GA, where she received excellent care.
She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved her. She will be buried with her beloved husband Alvin.
She is survived by one sister, Judy Evans of East Ridge, TN, two sons, Steve (Yulonda) Taylor of Chickamauga GA, and Greg (Cindy) Taylor of Dayton, Ohio, one granddaughter, Casi Posten and two great grandchildren, Dagon and Lola Posten of Ringgold, GA.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 1:00 pm at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. Arrangements by W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes, Fort Oglethorpe, GA.
