Patsy Yvonne Brown

Patsy Brown, age 85 of Gatesville, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Waco Memorial Park, located in Robinson, Texas with Pastor Hardy Smith Officiating.

Patsy Yvonne Brown was born on April 16, 1940 to the late Herman and Velma Lee Childress in Kosse, Texas. She dedicated many years of service to the Family Abuse Center of Waco where she was committed to helping others.

On July 15, 1955, Patsy married Alton C. Brown and together they shared 66 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2021. She and Alton enjoyed traveling in their motorhome, and were proud to have visited nearly every state. Above all, Patsy cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Brown; one brother and one sister.

She is survived by her sons, Alton Douglas Brown and wife Christy, and Curtis Wayne Brown; her grandchildren, Christopher Douglas Brown, Terri Rose (Brown) Tweed, Travis Wayne Brown, Dustin Tanner Brown, Justin Taylor Brown and Oren Brown; and five great grandchildren.
