Deepest condolences to The Bruce Family, she was a musical great songwriter that help write many number one hit songs and dedicated herself to protecting songwriters' rights. That is the legacy Ms. Patsy Bruce left behind memorable songs that will NEVER be forgotten. May the God of comfort bless your grieving hearts with strength, loving kindness and peace as the world copes with loss the of this legend. May his music keep his memory alive forever.

Patsy was not only a songwriter,but a fierce advocate for the profession. As President of the Nashville Songwriters Assn. (NSAI), Patsy took the fight for fair royalties to Congress. Patsy broke a barrier by being elected to the post by her fellow songwriters during an era when that wasn't common. We will miss her as we treasure her accomplishments.

I am truly sorry to hear about Patsy. My condolences go out to all family and friends. That "Dont let your babies" song is phenomenal and makes so much sense! She was a true legend and left behind a legacy within itself!!

I'm glad Patsy Bruce had a couple of professional "second acts" following her divorce- and that she found love again!!!

Patsy's contribution to the country-music community will be her legacy, but she will also be remembered for her devotion to civic duty.
