Patsy Jane Bruce, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away at her home on June 13, 2025. She was born on April 2, 1948, in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Pat cherished the moments spent with her family, particularly at gatherings where laughter and joy filled the air. She held dear memories of trips to the beautiful Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg, basking in nature's splendor with her loved ones. Her passion for fishing was a testament to her love for outdoor adventures, and she often shared these serene moments with family and friends.
She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Robert (Carla) Jeffers, Donny Jeffers, and Jodi (Tom) Brooks. Pat took immense pride in her nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought light into her life.
She is survived by her sister, Carol James, a bond that was filled with shared memories and support.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents, James Broy and Clara Underwood Broy; as well as her beloved husband, Marion Bruce. She was also predeceased by her siblings: James Broy, Betty Kirkpatrick, Charles Broy, Sue Cunningham, Richard Broy, and June Berryman.
As we remember Pat, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, June 23, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Eastern Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
