Patsy William Capone, 95, of Arnold, peacefully passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025, in his home with his family by his side. He was born February 25, 1930, in Arnold to the late Antonio and Julia Rapp Capone and was a lifelong resident of Arnold. Patsy worked for Gulf Research for 28 years as an Operation Specialist. He was an Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War as a Radio Repairman. Patsy's hobbies included gardening, cooking, watching TV, crossword puzzles, and the daily newspaper. He especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, always telling stories of his childhood and past experiences. Patsy enjoyed going to camp with his sister, Mary and her husband and warmly welcomed visits from Jeff Simoni and the Sisters of Mary Immaculate. For years, he found deep fulfillment in volunteering at St. Joseph Church, Mount St. Peter Church, and Mary Queen of Apostles School, cherishing the friendships he built with those alongside him. He is a member of Mount St. Peter Church, New Kensington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Lillian M. Froncek Capone, for whom he lovingly served as a caregiver for many years; and his brother, Charles Capone. Patsy is survived by his children, James (Mary) Capone, Valerie (Henry) D'Andrea and Jacquelyn (Andrew) Fellowes; siblings, Mary Haberman and Theresa Fajbik; grandchildren, David (Jenny) D'Andrea, Diane (Robert) Klaes, Nicholas (Danielle) D'Andrea, Deborah Capone, Juliana (Fiancée, Ian) Fellowes, Anthony Fellowes and Dominic Fellowes; 4 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 5 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in the Joseph J. Cardaro Funeral Home, 1125 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, 724-337-3325. Parting Prayers will be at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Mount St. Peter Church, New Kensington. Burial will then follow in Union Cemetery, Arnold, with military honors. The family wishes to thank the staff at Monarch Hospice for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in loving memory of Patsy to the Sisters of Mary Immaculate or Mary Queen of Apostles School. www.cardarofuneralhome.com
