Beverly V. Pawlik

Beverly V. (Bare) Pawlik, 84, of Kenhorst, passed away at Sinking Spring Nursing & Rehab on April 22, 2023.
She was the loving wife of Gerald J. Pawlik. They were married on October 8, 1960 and enjoyed over 62 years of marriage.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Florence (Gilmer) Bare.
She was a graduate of Reading High School in 1957. Beverly worked for AT&T for 35 years retiring in 1992. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Mohnton.
Beverly was a talented dancer for over 50 years. She was active in the Country Western Dancers of Reading and did Polka dancing as well. She enjoyed traveling especially casino and boat trips. Above all she loved her family and thoroughly enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her son, Jeffrey J. (Carolyn) Pawlik, Marlton, NJ, one brother, Lester (Barbara) Bare, Mohnton, four grandchildren: Julie Rears, Evan Pawlik, Josh Pawlik, and Katie Rears, her son-in-law, Patrick Rears, Exeter Twp. and her brother-in-law, Gerald Butto, Wernersville.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Lori A. Rears on April 12, 2022 and her sister, Joyce Butto.
A viewing will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 9 to 10 a.m. with services to begin at 10 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.
