Patsy Lynn Clark, born February 2, 1950, to Forrest Taylor Holt and Opal Dean (Smith) Holt in Union Grove, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with chronic illness on November 26, 2025, at the age of 75, in Paris, Texas.
Patsy was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love and strength shaped the lives of all who knew her. Patsy is survived by her two daughters, six granddaughters, one grandson, and two great-grandchildren, each of whom she cherished deeply. Her family was her greatest joy, and her final and most beloved role was as "Nana," caring for her grandchildren with unmatched devotion.
Despite having only a GED, Patsy built an extraordinary career through determination and hard work. She held numerous roles in the medical field, including patient care technician, scrub tech, billing and coding specialist, and physical therapy assistant. She also worked in hotel management, demonstrating her versatility and resilience. Yet, of all her accomplishments, being a nanny was the job she loved most. She took special pride and watching her grandchildren compete, perform, and create in every endeavor.
Patsy was fiercely protective of her family and loved with a depth that was both tender and strong. Life brought its share of challenges and disagreements, and many of us had rough encounters with Mom that we regret. But those moments never diminished the savage protection and loyalty we shared for one another. No one could love and serve her family the way Patsy did-her love was relentless and her presence was a shield. That bond will remain unbroken.
She will be remembered for her strength, her humor, and her ability to make everyone feel cared for. Patsy's life reminds us that success is not measured by titles or degrees, but by the love we give and the lives we touch.
Patsy was proceeded in death by her parents Forrest and Opal Holt, infant daughter Bianca Segraves, brother Alvin Holt, sister-in-law Carmelita Holt, husband Lindsey Clark, nephew Rodney Holt, and niece Dawn Holt.
Patsy is survived by her daughters, Shawna Segraves Duncan and husband Mickey of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Melissa Segraves Cross of Haworth, Oklahoma; brothers, Bill Holt of Hugo, Oklahoma, Jimmy Holt and wife Sandra of Talihina, Oklahoma, Jack Holt of Florence, South Carolina, Steve Holt and wife Nina of Guthrie, Oklahoma; sister, Glenda Keith and husband Mickey of Ada, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jalynn, Mabry, Rayce, and Channing Duncan of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Emma and Brody Fields of Haworth, Oklahoma, and Brennen Lewis and husband Dayton and great grandchildren Bentley and Dixanne of Kenner, Louisiana; and a special friend, Shirlene Level, along with a host of other family, friends, and loved ones whose lives she touched.
Family will receive friends Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Clardy Funeral Service Chapel. A Celebration of Patsy's life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 1, 2025, at Clardy Funeral Service Chapel, in
Idabel, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in the Redland Cemetery with Rev. Mickey Keith officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the incredible woman who gave so much of herself to others.
