Patsy Regina Cleghorn

Patsy Regina Cleghorn, born on May 14, 1948, in Lagrange, Georgia, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, at the age of 77. Patsy was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of many with her kindness and dedication.

Patsy spent her career as a cafeteria manager for the Clayton County Board of Education, where she was known for her hard work and commitment to serving the community. Her warm presence and caring nature left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, James and Virginia Borders and sister, Janice Walker. Patsy is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ray Cleghorn; her cherished sons, Jimmy Cleghorn (Shae), John Cleghorn, and Daniel Cleghorn (Amber); her dear sisters, Joan Lee (Michael) and Donna Weinberg; and her brothers, Michael Borders and Larry Borders (Elizabeth). She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren, Chastity Cleghorn, Kaleigh Hagen (Ken), Colby Cleghorn, Ellie Rivera (Mannie), and Bayleigh Laird as well as her adored great-grandchildren, Ivie Knight, Ezra Rivera, Onan Rivera, Elyse Hagen, and Emersyn Hagen.

A memorial service to honor Patsy's life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.

Patsy Regina Cleghorn will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
