Patsy Ruth Creech, 89, of Troy, Missouri passed away on November 1, 2025. She was born on April 5, 1936, in Troy to Robert and Lillian (Watts) Brown. Patsy and her brothers Edward and Michael grew up in Troy. She graduated from Buchanan High School in 1954 and attended the University of Missouri in Columbia. She was united in marriage to William H. (Bud) Creech on January 7, 1956, in Troy. They were blessed with two children, Dana and Bart.

Patsy and Bud along with Charles and Betty Creech, co-owned Creech Brothers Truck Lines which they operated together for over 50 years. Patsy was an active member of the First Christian Church and an ardent supporter of the Bread For Life Food Pantry. She served on the Britton House Board of Governors and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Lincoln County Historical Society. In 1997 she was named Troy Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year in recognition of her service in the community.

Surviving are her daughter Dana (Terry) Humphrey; her son Bart (Linda) Creech; two granddaughters, Lauren Kleck and Kara (Brad) Lindemann; and five great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Eric and Anna Kleck and Carly and Ava Lindemann.

Friends and family will be received from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at First Christian Church of Troy. A private interment will be held.
