Patsy Mary Jane Crockett

MARION, VA

Patsy Mary Jane Crockett, age 83, went Home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN.

Patsy was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on February 10, 1943. She was a hardworking and devoted woman who faithfully uplifted her Lord in all that she did. Her kind and compassionate nature led her to a fulfilling 31-year career as a CNA at Valley Healthcare Center in Chilhowie, where she took great pride in caring for others and always placed their needs above her own. Patsy was an active member of Valley View Baptist Church, where she cherished her church family. Her unwavering faith was also reflected in her support of the Hadassah House in Atkins. Above all, Patsy's love, faith, and devotion will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom & Belle Davidson Cox; her husband, Kermit Ralph Crockett; children, Sharon Bise, Douglas Crockett, Linda Crockett, Angela Crockett, and Jeffery Crockett; sisters, Retha Testerman and Adaline Cox; brother, Kenny Davidson; and a daughter-in-law, Donna Crockett.

Patsy is survived by her son, Terry Crockett; grandchildren, Charles Bise and Brandy Bise; great grandchildren, Braelyn Bise and Bella Adams; sister, Tempi Davidson; along with several nieces, nephews, a host of friends at Valley Healthcare Center, and her church family.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00PM, Thursday, April 16, 2026, from the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with Pastor Mike Sage officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, at Gardener's Chapel Cemetery in Scott County, VA.
