Patsy and Charlie were my dad's classmates and friends going back to tricycle days in Weldon and all through high school.
Patsy was a classy, warm southern lady who treated me like family and was a welcome overnight guest at my house when she and Charlie flew to Phoenix for a football game (UTenn?).
We traded occasional e-mails, most recently regarding the heated academic rivalry she had with my dad back in third grade, as revealed in the local paper at the time ;).
Our last time together was with my wife Megan and three of our kids in 2023, and we are grateful for that treasured memory.
God bless Patsy and Charlie and their fine family.

Patsy was such an interesting person and so humble. I was honored to consider her a friend. She befriended me especially when my husband Jack passed in 2021. I will always remember her kindness.

We were so blessed to attend Cumberland Baptist for over 30 years. Pasty´s worked in the children´s department and was such a caring, loving teacher. We were honored to spend time with her at church and in their home. She was such a wonderful Southern lady who always made you feel welcomed and who could make you smile ! She will be greatly missed. Praying for you all. She left a true legacy of faith, hope and love.

I did not know Patsy, except through my dear friend, Charlie. I am in awe of their long marriage and togetherness and the kindness exhibited in their lives.

I only knew Patsy in her later years as a member of the Open Circle Sunday School class at First Baptist of Knoxville, but I was always impressed with that twinkle in her eyes and sharp wit. Married to Charlie Daniel all those years, one had to have that honed wit.

Patsy was the epitome of charm, beauty inside and out, grace and the perfect wife for Charlie- our talented, famous, beloved Charlie. For everyone who knew her, it was an honor and a privilege. My condolences go out to Charlie.
