Patsy Davis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Green Hills Funeral Home - Middlesboro on Feb. 11, 2025.
Patsy Hurst Davis, age 73, of Pineville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at the Pineville Community Hospital with her loving family at her side.
She was born on October 7, 1951 in Middlesboro to the late Pascal and Aslaw Hurst.
Patsy was a lover of nature – especially flowers and butterflies. Having a green thumb, she used her hands to grow the most beautiful flowers which she enjoyed tending to and caring for. Even greater than her ability to grow flowers, Patsy grew an abundance of love that poured out to her family and anyone that she met. A rock and pillar for others, anytime her family sought advice, she was always right there to guide them and welcome them into her comforting arms.
In addition to her green thumb and loving hugs, Patsy used her hands to fix the best meals for her family - always making sure they left full. Her family meant the world her, especially her precious grandson Max who was her pride and joy. With every flower that blooms or butterfly that flies by, we will be reminded of Patsy's sweet smile, her ever-guiding advice and unwavering love that she poured out towards her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory, loving husband of 56 years Lloyd Davis, daughter Shannon Green and husband Gary, the light of her life, grandson Max Green, brothers Dale Hurst and Jimmy Hurst, sisters Maderis Pierce, Bonnie Jackson and Eunice Madley, as well as a host of many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family of Patsy Davis will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel.
Graveside Services will immediately follow at the Hurst Cemetery, Pineville, Kentucky.
Green Hills Funeral Home, Middlesboro, is honored to serve the Davis family.
