Patsy Downs Obituary
Patsy Ann Downs (nee Codemo), of O Fallon, MO, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025, at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Delbert Downs; devoted daughter of the late John and Laura Codemo; cherished mother of Kathy (Mike) Mikulin, Don (Diane) Downs, and Jeff (Lisa) Downs; loving grandmother of Scott (Jamie) Downs, Ashley Downs, Eric Downs, Lauren (Chris) Lyons, Benji Clifford, D.J. Downs, Katie Downs, Stephanie (Ben) Perich, Christine (Brian) TenEyck, Tara (Bud) Chrisco, Michael Sean Mikulin, and David (Melissa) Mikulin; treasured great-grandmother of 12 and great-great grandmother of one. Dear sister of the late Don Codemo, Fred Codemo, Rosemarie Tucker and Nora Morris; loving grandmother of the late Kristen Downs, beloved aunt and friend.
Patsy was a devoted member of Cornerstone Methodist Church, a wonderful mother and homemaker who took great pride in the family she raised. A talented seamstress, she found joy in spending time with her grandchildren, bowling, making ice cream cakes at Dairy Queen, and cheering on the Cardinals, especially during Spring Training. She also loved taking cruises with her husband and friends. Patsy was full of life and a truly wonderful person, dearly loved and deeply missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Patsy's name to in lieu of flowers, donations to Cornerstone Methodist Church.
