Patsy Dunn Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by White Family Funeral Home on Feb. 16, 2026.
Patsy Lou Dunn, 79, of Bowie, Texas, gained her wings and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 15, 2026, in Bowie.

Funeral services will be held at First Freewill Baptist Church in Bowie on Saturday, February 21, at 1:00 p.m., with Pastors Billy Waller and Glenn Neff officiating. A graveside service will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery, with arrangements entrusted to White Family Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jacob Gonzales, Hayden Gonzales, Jerry Fuller, Henry Evans, Ron VanHofwegen, and Lanny Hunt.

Pat was born on March 31, 1946, in Buffalo Springs, Texas, to Charles "Chick" Fuller and Willie "Aunt Bill" Fuller. She grew up with a deep love for family, faith, and community-values that remained central throughout her life. Pat worked for many years at Haggar before spending her later years at the Bowie Public Library, where she found great joy in helping others and visiting with friends. She was a devoted member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Bowie, where she cherished her church family. Pat also faithfully volunteered with the God's Table ministry, cooking and serving meals to those in need for many years. Prior to moving to Bowie, she attended Pleasant Mound Freewill Baptist Church in Buffalo Springs.

Pat had a special passion for gardening and the outdoors. She and her husband Ray enjoyed spending time with family, traveling and attending church together during their marriage. Before her illness progressed, she could often be found tending to her yard, nurturing her flowers, or relaxing on her patio with a good book. She loved vacations at the beach, but nothing brought her more happiness than time spent with her friends and family-especially her beloved grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Dunn, parents, Charles and Willie Fuller; her brothers, Gerald Fuller, Buck Fuller, Denny Fuller, Eddie Fuller, and James Fuller; and her sister, Betty Flinn.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Robin Gonzales of Austin, Texas; her cherished grandsons, Jacob Gonzales and Hayden Gonzales of Austin; her sister-in-law, Patsy Fuller; and numerous nieces and nephews: Tammie, Cindy, and Jerry Fuller; Pam, Tom, Clarence Flinn; and Johnny Fuller and Tracy Jones. She also leaves behind many dear friends whom she loved beyond measure.

Pat spent her final years at Independence Hall in Bowie. Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff for the exceptional care and love they showed her. She loved each of you and felt that love returned. The family is also deeply thankful for her devoted friends who stood faithfully by her side.

Pat's legacy of faith, kindness, service, and love will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
