Patsy Sue Duplissey

Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Sue Duplissey will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Clearwater, with Reverend Roger Whittington officiating. Interment will follow in Duplissey Cemetery, Clearwater, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Duplissey, 76, of Clearwater, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Compass Behavior Heath Center, Marksville, LA.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Patsy was a member of the first open heart surgery team at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. She was extremely crafty and enjoyed making jewelry. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dudley and Neldra Wilson; one brother, Ray Wilson; and two sisters, Veronica Matt and Jane Soileau.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of sixty years, Larry Duplissey of Clearwater; one son, David Warren Duplissey of Clearwater; one daughter, Denise Duplissey of Clearwater; one brother, Lamar Wilson of Sunset; one sister, Jennifer Johnson of Forest Hill; four grandchildren, Amanda Roe, Casey Roe, Lori Barnes, and Brandie Smith; and four great grandchildren, Kayleigh Silva, Bryce Smith, McKenzie Smith, and Jenna Smith.
A time of visitation will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Clearwater, on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at the church on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
