Patsy Evans Obituary
Patsy Gutierrez Evans, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on January 17, 1938, to Lloyd Gutierrez Sr. and Lelia Rider, Patsy's life was a testament to grace, strength, and quiet kindness.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her devoted husband, Adam P. Evans Jr., with whom she shared a loving and enduring marriage.
Though Patsy had no children, she was a central and cherished figure in her extended family. She is survived by her loving siblings, Linda Gutierrez Plaisance, Lucky “Lloyd” Gutierrez Jr., and Larry Gutierrez Sr. Patsy’s memory will be treasured by her numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. They will remember her for her unwavering warmth, her gentle guidance, and the unconditional love she gave to all.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi. Friends and family are invited to visit with the family beginning at 10:00 a.m. Patsy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
