Patsy "Pat" Dominick Ferraro passed away on December 20, 2025 and was born December 31, 1931 to Vincent James and Josephine (Linarello) Ferraro.

He married June Elizabeth Brown in 1958 and they were married for 66 years before she preceded him in death in March 2025. They have four children; Nicholas (Sherry) Ferraro, Michael Ferraro, Patrick (Debra) Ferraro and Pamela (Timothy) Weaver who survive him. Also grandchildren; Nicholas Logan Ferraro Jr, Kelly (Jeremy) Bunnell, Christopher (Caitlin) Ferraro, Monica (Josh) Fee, Michael Ferraro, Danielle (Bradley) Montauk, and Timothy J Weaver and 7 Great Grandchildren; McKenna, Odin, Alerya, Gweneth, Gianna, Legen and Aliah and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister, Clara Mitchell.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sister in laws, Nicholas (Rose) Ferraro, Louis (Betty) Ferraro and his sister Teresa Caruso.

He graduated from South Bend Central High School in 1951, where he was State wrestling Champion. He joined the U.S. Navy after graduation. He served in Korea and was honorably discharged with two battle stars, good conduct medal, and a Korean Presidential Unit Citation.

Pat was on the Navy wrestling team and participated in the Olympic trials for the 1952 Olympic wrestling team, losing by referee’s decision to the Big 10 champion. He was especially proud of being inducted into the Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame for his wrestling achievements during and after high school.

He went to Tri-State College for three years to study electrical engineering. He worked many jobs in his life but, prior to retiring, had been a Purchasing Agent for over 20 years in the RV industry.

Pat was a very good golfer. He won many trophies at Pine View Country Club, golfed in many Pro/Am matches there and achieved a hole in one. He was always ready to o er advice to help with your golf swing or line up your putt.

He was an avid Notre Dame fan and devout Catholic who liked helping at mass by being an usher or lay minister. When he could, Pat loved walking around Gravel Lake everyday with June. They enjoyed seeing and talking to their Gravel lake community friends.

The family wants to thank the sta at White Oaks Residence Lawton Michigan for the care and love they gave him as well as Centrica Hospice.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 27, 2025 starting at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Parish Center at 19440 Moreau Dr, Notre Dame IN (enter off of Douglas Road), followed by an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial with interment at St Joseph Valley Memorial Park to follow.
