Patsy Franklin Obituary
On Friday, Oct. 28, 2022, at the age of 92, Patsy Sue Styles Franklin reunited with her husband, Bruce, and is now with her Lord.
Pasty was born in Mitchell Count, June 5, 1930, to the late Polly Hughes Styles and Sidney Styles. She was a member of Sugar Hill Baptist Church for 70-plus years and retired from Southern Devices. Pasty was a loving mother and grandmother to all. She will be missed for the love and care that she gave her family throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Franklin; daughter, Debra Jean Franklin Jolly; and 13 siblings.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Dennis Franklin and wife, Lynn and Kenneth Franklin, both of Marion; sister, Catherine York of Greenville, S.C.; brother, Donald Styles of Marion; four grandchildren, Kim Franklin Crain, Scott Franklin, Michelle Franklin and James Franklin; five great-grandchildren, Nessie, Brittany, Ellis, Morgan and Madison; and three great-great-grandchildren, Hunter, Halter and Savannah.
A funeral service will be held Monday, Oct. 31, at 3 p.m., at Sugar Hill Baptist Church, with the Revs. Michael Robinson and Bruce Ward officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m., at the church, prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow the funeral service in Sugar Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
