PATSY GALLAGHER We announce the passing of Patsy Ruth Gallagher on Friday, April 4, 2025, in the home. Patsy was surrounded by her Husband, Rollie Gallagher, and daughter Stacy Harrington. "Remember that people are only guests in your story the same way you are only a guest in theirs so make the chapters worth reading." Lauren Klarfeld Patsy was born in Paola, KS on July 6th, 1945, to Everett Knight and Grace Knight. Patsy was married for 61 years to Rolland Gallagher on February 16, 1964, at the Miami County Court House. Patsy enjoyed working as the Front Reception area Secretary and switchboard operator at Taylor Forge in Paola, KS for several years and then worked as an Underwriter at MetLife in Overland Park, KS. Patsy always enjoyed going and watching her children in sports and all her grand and great grandchildren's different ballgames, wrestling tournaments, any time of sports that her grandchildren and great grandchildren were involved in, as often as she was able to. Patsy later in life enjoyed connecting with all of you on Facebook, sharing all of the yummy recipes that she found online. Patsy was preceded in death by her son, Scott Gallagher passed July 8, 1984, from a fatal car wreck on July 4, 1984. Patsy was preceded by her sister Dixie Anderson, sister Mary Lou White, Brother-in-Law Jerry White. Patsy was survived by Husband, Rolland Gallagher, of the home, and daughter Stacy Harrington of Spring Hill, KS., Son-In-Law, Darren Harrington, sister, Melody Lambert, 3 Grandchildren, Shane Harrington, Lyndsay Harrington, Seth Harrington, Daughter-In-Law, Mercedes Harrington, 5 Great Grandchildren, Harper Harrington, Sylas Harrington, Roycen Harrington, Daxton and Dawson Harrington. The family would like to thank Appl Orchard Hospice for the excellent care they provided. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Friday, April 11, 2025, at Dengel & Son Mortuary - Paola Chapel, 305 N Pearl St, Paola, Kansas 66071. Memorial Service will take place at 7:15 pm.
