Patsy Joseph Gallo

Patsy J. Gallo of Hornell NY, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, in Danbury, Connecticut.
Patsy was born Aug 13, 1937, in Danbury CT to Patsy and Krangle Gallo, the last surviving child of 13 siblings.
A proud U.S. Army veteran of the 11 Airborne division, Patsy lived a full and generous life, sharing his time, talents, and friendship with everyone fortunate enough to know him. He had a gift for bringing people together-often over a glass of his homemade wine, which he loved making and sharing with family and friends. His large vegetable gardens were a source of enjoyment.
Patsy enjoyed the moments he spent with his family, his lifelong friends in Danbury and the close friendships he formed while residing in Hornell NY. He also enjoyed spending time with the Amish community, where he felt especially connected and welcomed.
He is survived by his daughters Karen Haddad, and her husband Conrad Haddad, and Lisa Rosato, and her husband Joseph Rosato; four grandchildren; Jessica, Anthony (Sarah), Conrad (Andie) and Nicole. His great-grandchildren; Aurora and Vincent.
He was predeceased by his daughter Christine Gallo and his son Thomas Gallo. Patsy is also remembered by his former companion Ellen, his ex-wife Helen Gallo, his cousin and best friend Bebe Gillotti and his wife Maryann.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff, Doctors and Beth at the Danbury hospital - tower bldg., 10th east floor for their help, support and kindness showed toward our father while in their care.
Patsy will be deeply missed by all who loved him. His warmth, his stories, his humor, and his generous spirit will remain in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
