Patsy Gaston Obituary
Born in Abbeville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Caldwell and Ethel Whaley Gaston. Patsy was a retired Registered Nurse. She attended First Baptist Church of Anderson.
Survivors include her sister, Jean G. Nelson; nieces Teressa Nelson (Robert Garcia) and Barbara N. Knight (Bob); nephew Danny Nelson (Debra); great nieces Tara N. Johnson, Amber Bartiowak (Joe), Anna Knight, and Jean Knight; eight great-great nieces and nephews; and her special friends Beverly Blanton, Mary Alice Edmonds, Nadine Pilgrim, and Susan and Otis Gurley.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 19, at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Jack Anderson and the Nightingale Tribute will be performed by The Nurses Honor Guard. Burial will follow at Long Cane Cemetery in Abbeville. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Thursday prior to the service at the mortuary.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Terra Bella Assisted Living, Infinite Hearts Care Givers, her niece Teressa, and Mrs. Cynthia Groves for taking great care of her throughout her illness.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 307 South Manning Street, Anderson, SC 29624.
