Patsy Giddens

Patsy Giddens, 71, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, May 15, 2023, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia.
The family will receive friends 6-8 PM, Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at the Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Giddens was born April 22, 1952, in Wilcox County, Georgia, to the late Lesser and Juanita Keene Davis. She loved to help people and spend time with her family. Mrs. Giddens loved to fish and hunt and especially loved going to the beach. She was most recently a housewife but had previously worked as a CNA.
She is survived by her husband: Ronald Giddens of Fitzgerald; two daughters: Tammi Dawson & John of Valdosta, and Terri Staton of Fitzgerald; a stepdaughter, Sheri Ridgeway; stepson, Bivins Giddens & Brittani of Knoxville TN; five grandchildren: Michael McCrimmon of Fitzgerald, Christian Dawson of Valdosta, Shawn Staton and Nicholas Staton,both of Fitzgerald, and Matthew Dawson of Valdosta; four step grandchildren: Aaron Giddens, Clarissa Crowley, Izabella Crowley and Jordan Crowley; a brother, William Davis of Abbeville; and a sister, Martha Blackwell of Abbeville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Prescott.
